W00t w00t! My E.L.F. stuffies arrived yesterday! They cheered me up, as I’m not having the best week, so YAY! Look at zee pretties!
In the picture:
- E.L.F. Studio Flawless Finish Foundation in the colour Porcelain.
- E.L.F. Nail Polish in the colour Gum Pink.
- E.L.F. Mineral Foundation in the colour Fair.
- E.L.F. Liquid Lipstick in the colour Perfect Pink.
- E.L.F. (no, really?
) Shimmer Pencil in the colour Precious Pink.
I’m sensing a pink theme
Anyway, some of my first impressions…
I can’t test the Flawless Finish Foundation properly yet, because my eczema and angioedema are having a wild ‘n crazy party on my face. But I did try it out on my hand and the undertones seem way too pink. It’s also not super pale unfortunately. Like I (and apparantely Gossmakeupartist too
) always say, neutral toned foundations are the way forward.
But my BFF Jenni is visiting me next week and I think this might actually be the perfect colour for her
I do love the glass bottle and the fact that it comes with a pump though, very hygienic. And the semi-matte finish is rather pretty
But more on this product later.
The Liquid Lipstick in Perfect Pink instantly received the highest honour a lip product can get in my stash…a coveted spot in my purse
Seriously, I tried it on and fell in love with it. What a beautiful colour and great lasting power. As soon as my face is back to normal, I’ll do a review of this.
Haven’t tried the Mineral Foundation yet
The Shimmer Pencil in Precious Pink seems lovely; it’s a great brightening colour for the waterline or lower lashline, so I’m rather pleased with that one as I’m running out of my beloved Pupa Baroque Couture pencil
I’ll post an NOTD of the Nail Polish in Gum Pink tomorrow or later today. I was really surprised by the quality, one coat seems to provide good coverage and the colour is fun!
Have you tried any of these products? What did you think of them?
