Here’s what I got for Christmas from my parents, brother and fiancé! Gmarket shopping is always a special treat for me, because the shipping is usually a bit too expensive for me personally to shop there regularly. So I wait for the holidays or special occasions But the stuff on Gmarket is always soooo good So I was super excited to receive this package!
And a makeup haul wouldn’t be a true Suzy style makeup haul if I didn’t have my trusty assistant Haaky with me while I show the products! Poor Haaky, he had to be my makeup guinea pig in this one…
This Gyaru makeup tutorial was inspired by my recent experience of going to a big Dutch anime convention, Abunai 2011. One of the things I did there was attend a Gyaru lecture, held by two gals of the Dutch Gyarusa, Hyper.
Even though I’m obsessed with Korean (pop) culture, I fell in love with Japanese Gyaru style after attending that kickass lecture. So I just HAD to film a makeup tutorial! It was actually quite difficult to apply Gyaru makeup, considering I have caucasian features and my eyeshape is the complete opposite of an Asian eyeshape (I have deepset eyes). But I really hope you’ll like the video!

NARUKO is a Taiwanese skincare brand by the skincare guru Niu’Er. The brand focuses on paraben-free, artificial colouring free, fragrance free, gentle skincare, based on a patented 11 plant extract blend, called Phytoferulin After hearing Fuzkittie rave about the brand, I decided to give it a go and I have since then become completely addicted to it!
Not all products were purchased by me, some were gifts from friends and family. But that doesn’t influence my opinion in any way, shape or form I uploaded this video to my YouTube channel a while ago, but I only just found the time to scan all the products’ ingredients lists (which can be found after the cut).
This is a long video due to the amount of products, so here is a list of review times, for easy skipping ahead. If you want to comment, please do so on YouTube. I wanna keep all the comments in one place for this one

I have good experiences with buying Naruko stuff from Beautycarousel.com. Their shipping is fast and they package the products very well. Plus, they use FedEx, so you can easily track your package
This makeup tutorial was inspired by the colours of the beautiful artwork of my favourite Korean manhwa, The Bride Of The Water God (하백의 신부) by Yun Mi-Kyung. It’s my first time doing a red eyeshadow tutorial Hope you like it! Thanks for watching!

I found the background's cake pattern on the deviantART account of A-Little-Kitty. Both the header as well as the Chibi!Suzy were drawn by Yannick (thanks Yan!!). I found the horizontal pink divider on the footer of the site on Girly Pixels. The vertical starry divider comes from Creamiicandy. The smilies were made by Dhini.nl. And I found Translate Kitty on Babydoll.nu.
